1) Mac will not be able to access the FTP area using a web browser. First go to the Finder and then hold the Apple Key down and press ‘k’. This will open the ‘connect to server screen’

2) In the server address window type the following address and hit ‘Connect’:

https://intranet.duncanprint.co.uk/Account Name

(Where Account Name is the identity of your particular account.)

For the General site you would type https://intranet.duncanprint.co.uk/general

3) If you see a ‘Verify Certificate’ server message click ‘Continue’.

4) When prompted type in your user name and password – be aware these are case-sensitive.

5) A new volume will mount to your desktop into which you may drag and drop any files you wish to upload. You may also drag the volume into your dock to create a quicker connection routine.

6) To break the server connection simply eject the volume from your desktop.

NB You may experience problems uploading files if you are running MAC OS v10.3.

1) To access the FTP facility PC users should first log on to their web browser and from the “FILE” menu dropdown select the OPEN option, this will open a dialogue box.The dialogue requires you to type in the address:

https://intranet.duncanprint.co.uk/Account Name

(Where Account Name is the identity of your particular account.)

For the General site you would type https://intranet.duncanprint.co.uk/general

2) Make sure you click the “Open as Web Folder” option and then click OK. This opens a further dialogue box.

3) Type the account name (e.g. General – taking note that all details are case-sensitive) into the username and your password into the password box and you will get access to the secure file transfer area to upload or download files as required.

4) Simply drag and drop any files you wish to upload.

5) Some users may see a certificate error come up, simply click to install the certificate into a trusted area and then proceed.
