| Duncan Print Group achieves ISO 14001 Accreditation
Duncan Print is very pleased to announce that it has achieved the ISO14001 environmental management standard, following its recent success in becoming one of the few printers accredited to both FSC and PEFC.
“We are delighted to be able to offer our customers proof that we are actively reducing our environmental impact across all aspects of our business” said Keith Davidson, Sales Director of DP&P. “We have worked hard with our suppliers to achieve the tough FSC and PEFC certification to promote the use of sustainable resources in our production”.
The Duncan Print Group produces both commercial print and packaging and it has been working for over a year to reduce the carbon footprint of the growing business. Environmental impact is becoming increasingly important and these independent awards are proof of our commitment to act responsibly. The company has projects on-going with The Carbon Trust and Envirowise to help further reduce energy consumption and waste. There are active recycling drives for all materials to reduce landfill and projects aimed to minimise the use of chemicals and explore more efficient methods of production.
